n addition to being a state-of-the-art music player as well as a complete music library managing application, Pacemaker Editor is all about creating mixes. Pacemaker Editor enables limitless creative possibilities via an intuitive interface tailor-made for desktop mix production. We’re really happy with the interface, where we’ve aimed for a truly physical experience emulating that of the hand-held Pacemaker.

The initial reason for the development of Shimo was the lousy software-implementation of the Cisco-VPN-Client for Mac OS. Shimo is a tool that wants to do it the MacOS-way: That means to reduce the interface to the important features and integrate it right into the user-interface of the OS.

In Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard Apple has introduced Time Machine, a very convenient way to make backups.Unfortunately the backup interval is preset constantly to one hour. Apple uses an launchd daemon to control the timing, but changing the interval value in the launchd.plist file has no effect. TimeMachineScheduler disables the automatic backup function of Time Machine and installs its own launchd agent. As the agent is located in the main library, the administrator password is required for all (writing) operations.
