This is a great freeware app if you have kids. Every time a key is pressed or the mouse is clicked, a letter or shape is drawn. Sounds can be played every time something is drawn. Your own sounds and pictures can also be used. AlphaBaby helps kids to learn letters, plus provides a safe environment for kids to have fun “typing” on the keyboard! Both an application and screen saver version of AlphaBaby are provided.

The most important thing to know is the key combination to exit the program. This is shown to you each time you start the app.

This is an entertaining app and your kids will love it. If your kids are anything like my neice, they are drawn to the big bright screens of a Mac. This controls their actions very well. Once they can have a little more control, take a look at Tux Paint
