AntiRSI is freeware that can really help the way that you feel at the end of the day. If your back, hands, wrists or eyes hurt each night, you’ll want to use this software. Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) is common among those who work in front of a computer all day. RSI isn’t a disease but refers to a group of other conditions “affecting muscles, tendons and nerves in the arms and upper back. It occurs when muscles in these areas are kept tense for very long periods of time, due to poor posture and/or repetitive motions.”
One way to avoid these conditions is to take regular breaks during your computer time. AntiRSI helps you do that. The program is amazingly good and gives you options to cater to your style of work. This program also has mini pauses helping you to keep your eyes in good condition. They will remind you to look away from the screen and work your eye muscles. During the longer pauses, I take that opportunity to take a walk down the hall or go check out what food is in the kitchen.
