I have no artisitic ability. I’ve accepted that. That is why I like Artrage. It’s a simulation of canvas painting, but it also has another neat feature for people like me.

From the Developer’s site:

ArtRage is all about playing with paint without the mess, and having fun in the process. You can paint your own image from a blank canvas to completed work, or load in a picture to trace and have the tools pick their colours for you as you paint over it.

Keyword there is “trace”. Perfect.

Update: It looks like the full version has gone the way of the almighty dollar, but there us still a free edition without all the new bells and whistles. Though you do get the increased speed.
