I love the beats of hip-hop music, but I prefer not to listen to the offensive or crude words. Audacity helps me get rid of them, and that’s just one use for Audacity.
Audacity records and edits music and audio files. You can record multiple tracks, combine into stereo, split into left and right, apply various effects, strip the vocals from some songs, and export to MP3. For example, I use Audacity to create just the right ring tone for my phone.
Audacity is easy to use and, as an open source application, is always improving.
