BatChmod
If you're new to Freemacware.com and like what you see, you may want to subscribe to our RSS feed or signup for our emails at the right. We'll send you one Mac freeware application every day. Thanks for visiting!
BatChmod — short for “Batch Change Mode” — lets you change the permissions on your files and folders. Finder’s “Get Info” also lets you do this, but BatChmod gives you more fine-grained control. (By the way, don’t change permissions on files if you don’t know what you’re doing.)
BatChmod’s most universally useful feature is “Force Empty Trash”, for those pesky times when you can’t empty your trash the normal way.
