GEObsession is freeware geocaching software for Mac OS. It is very early in its development so expect bugs to be fixed and features added as we grow. Keep in mind that until the BETA period is over and the version is at least 1.0 you may be required to trash your data and start over after an update.

Dashboard KickStart will allow you to always have the Dashboard ready to use the first time you want.
Without it you’ll have to wait for a complete Dashboard start-up sequence as soon as you are ready use it for a first time, making its quick accessibility rather useless.

dieSucker is a free dice roller, written in java. byteMe “calculates” the decimal, octal and hexadecimal representation of a byte given in binary. More importantly, dieSucker uses NSTextfield, NSButton, NSStepper and NSMatrix [the latter in a bad, non-standard way].

Mac OS X has a nifty shortcut - Ctrl+Eject - for shutting down your computer. On older Apple keyboards, these keys are on opposite diagonal corners of the keyboard, and at the end of the day you may simply hit the two corners of the keyboard then Return to switch off your computer.

Blackout allows you to instantly dim your screen, without any adjustment of your monitor’s hardware settings, brightness, or gamma calibration. Work as usual - Launch Blackout, drag the slider at the lower left corner of your screen to adjust the amount of darkening. You may then continue your work as you normally would.
