Newer Macs come with an option not only to sleep but to deep sleep. Your Mac draws a very small amount of power while sleeping to save the contents of its memory. When deep sleeping, the memory is saved to the hard disk and then the computer draws no power at all.

JellyfiSSH is a GUI frontend to the ssh utility. In the Terminal, ssh allows you to connect to and operate other computers. With JellyfiSSH you don’t need to memorize all the command line options; you can choose them within JellyfiSSH and then launch a Terminal session. With JellyfiSSH you can also create ssh tunnels. When Apple switched to Intel, Mac OS X lost its ability to run older versions of Mac OS in Classic Mode. SheepSaver brings this functionality back. Here’s how it works:

1. Install SheepSaver on your Intel machine.
2. Copy over a ROM from an old Mac.
3. Install Mac OS 9 (or older) from a CD.

Then you can run Classic applications on your Mac OS X Intel machine.
