Celesita is an incredible freeware app that will let you explore our universe. I sure enjoyed Stellarium quite a bit, but Celestia “doesn’t confine you to the surface of the Earth. You can travel throughout the solar system, to any of over 100,000 stars, or even beyond the galaxy.”
Another great thing about Celestia is that there are a ton of great addons to increase the fun. (Check out the Star Wars addons.)
