If you’ve been on the move with your laptop and needed to use the internet, then you’ve noticed while searching for a wireless signal that you never know whether or not there are networks in range until you check the Apple Airport menu, and even then you don’t know which networks are encrypted until you try to connect to them individually. Grrr.
From coconut-flavour’s site:
“coconutWiFi displays you a small aqua-bubble at the top of your screen which indicates whether you’re in range of a wireless network or not.
The app also tells you if the wireless networks in your range are encrypted or open, so you won’t miss the next open wireless network any more.”
