icon

Your Mac computer can already open almost any compressed file. But what if you want to compress a file? You can always right-click and choose “Create Archive”. But if you want more options, you’ll need an app like Compress. The name says it all. Compress lets you compress your files or folders (for sending them over the internet or whatever) in a variety of formats — tar, bzip, gzip, p7zip, and zip — by simply dragging and dropping.
