We might never have found this app if my 1st cousin, once-removed hadn’t told me about it. He’s my father’s cousin, but it was Cousin Calculator that helped us figure out our relation to each other. With Cousin Calculator you simply enter each person’s relation to their most recent common ancestor, and it will tell you their relationship.
This cousin recently interviewed me for his podcast on The Educational Mac. (That’s when he told me about Cousin Calculator.) If you’re an educator and use a Mac, you’ll like his site. Check out this podcast. The part about Freemacware.com starts at 15:10 but I thought the whole thing was good.
