FairGame will take the songs you purchased from iTunes and convert them to an unprotected format. It uses the iTunes Default encoder and keeps the metadata, lyrics, and artwork.
You do have to do a couple things before you can use this app. (e.g., enable access for assistive devices) Also, it’s not super fast, about 1/2 real time, but it gets the job done. It’s great if you purchased a song that you want to use for something else. If you need to strip a whole list of music, you’ll want to start it up and let it run over night.
This is a nice app to use to free your music. But I sure wish Jhymn would be updated.
