FreeMacWare has turned one year old. That’s exciting. Thanks to you, we’ve come a long way. Here are the numbers if you’re interested.

• Our first post was WhatSize on August 23rd, 2005.
• We are just about to reach 6 million page views. We’ve never advertised the site so that is all thanks to your incredible word-of-mouth. Thank you. We love the emails we get from people about all their friends and family they’ve turned on to FMW. One fella told us he got in trouble with his girlfriend because he spent so much time going thru the freeware. Sorry to Tom’s girlfriend. Hope that helps.
• We are currently in the number two slot when you search “mac freeware” on Google. We’re really gunning for that first spot, but we’ll see if we ever get there.
• If you search thru the FreeMacWare archives, you’ll see 488 great freeware apps. We’ll have to find a real winner for number 500.
