GarageBand Anywhere

If you are looking to save some hard drive room on your Mac, you will want to pay attention to this post.

GarageBand is a great application. It played a large part in why I bought a new Powerbook. However, I only use it when I want to record a new song, so the the other 95% of the time it just takes up room on my Mac. I was happy to see GarageBand Anywhere.

GarageBand Anywhere will allow you to move all of the essential files to another location (External Hard Drive, iPod, etc). This will “improve GarageBand’s performance and free up space on your boot drive.” When you want to record or play around with GarageBand, just attach that drive and go for it.
