gDisk offers a great way to back up your Mac using Gmail. The application is quick to set up, and Google offers plenty of space to get your most important files backed up. Just select the files and upload them.
I made a Gmail account solely for back ups. If you need an invite for a Gmail account, try www.gmailtools.com.
