Mac OS X is the most compatible operating system ever, right out of the box, with excellent support for printing to any printer, connecting to any computer, etc. But we still live in a Windows world, and sometimes Microsoft makes things difficult. Here are a collection of Mac OS X apps that help you get along in WinWorld:
- Windows Media Player — Play Windows Media files.
- Remote Desktop — Connect to and administer a Windows PC.
- TNEF’s Enough — Open the “winmail.dat” files that Outlook sometimes sends.
- DoubleCommand — Swap keys on your keyboard to behave more like a PC.
- WinShortcutter — Open Windows shortcut files.
- BlueHarvest — Prevent your Mac from creating .DS_Store files when you copies folders to a PC.
