All new Macs come with Garageband, but that doesn’t rule out the use of other great music apps. Hydrogen is a drum machine for your Mac. “It’s main goal is to bring professional yet simple and intuitive pattern-based drum programming.” Once you grab the app and get used to it, don’t forget to check out the twenty other available sound libraries for the drum machine.
(PS, we usually don’t include system requirements because they are constantly changing and we can’t keep up the 500+ posts. We encourage you to click thru to the developer’s site and take a look there. But, I will include a mention on this one because I don’t see it anywhere on the developer’s site. This program seems to be compiled for Intel Macs only.)
