iBackground Scripts is a free and easy to use AppleScript that will make other AppleScripts to run in the background, provided that the script is saved as an ‘application bundle’.
Simply place the script on your Desktop and change the name of it to ‘back.app’. Then launch iBackground Scripts and click the ‘Yes’ button. You can reverse it by clicking the ‘No’ button and it will no longer be a background script.
