KisMAC

Like MacStumbler, Kismac will let you find available wireless networks as you are mobile with your Mac. However, Kismac KisMAC has much more for professional users. “Unlike most other applications for OS X it has the ability to run completely invisible and send no probe requests.”

This program has been popular recently because of a video that shows one how to use KisMAC to get into a wireless network that is protected with WEP. (More info on that here.)

Even without the extra curricular activities, KisMAC is a powerful and useful program.
