The Ruby programming language and the Rails framework are optimized for “programmer satisfaction”. They’re built to be beautiful. Why else would Apple endorse a programming language? Ruby on Rails will come standard on Mac OS X 10.5 (”Leopard”) but until then there’s Locomotive. Locomotive installs everything you need to try Ruby on Rails. Download Locomotive, find a Rails tutorial, and get started.
