This award-winning freeware app catalogs system information about every Apple product from the beginning of time. You can see detailed specs such as processor speed, hard drive capacity, and dimensions for anything from the Mac mini to the Newton to the old Macintosh II. You can see pictures, read a short history, and hear the startup chime of each machine. Mactracker also detects which machine you have, and lets you write maintenance notes.
Using Mactracker feels like walking through a children’s museum — fun and educational at the same time!
