MiracleSight is great freeware that is marketed as “Your Magical Mirror Screensaver”. It’s quite fun to use.

With an isight (or other camera) attached to your mac, the “MiracleSight mirrors what is in front of your computer. It watches and if it detects motion, it reacts by drawing bubbles where the motion is happening, playing a sound or speaking a phrase you’ve set.”

How fun is that? You could really get a good scare out of your kids or roommate if you had your Mac talking to them as they walk by the desk. There are alot of neat ways to use this freeware. (Boinx, the company that offers this freeware, also offers a page of tips.)
