Mouseposé is a neat piece of freeware for teachers, or others who present in front of an audience. This application dims the screen and puts a spotlight around the cursor. The spotlight can be enabled or disabled with a user-defined key combination.
Update: This freeware has since gone the way of the almighty dollar. Bummer.
