With the release of the new iPod that plays video, iPod owners are looking for ways to convert their existing videos to be compatible with their iPods. This is easy to do with Quicktime Pro, although it is a bit slow and costs money. MovieToGo offers a free–and fast– way to convert video files. The program works well and is very easy to use. You simply open the video file with the program and click the “Convert to iPod video” button.
The basic rule is that if Quicktime can play the video (with or without codecs), then it can be converted with this freeware.
