FreeMacWare.com keeps rolling along. The freeware, traffic, and emails have never been better. We’re continually impressed with what we find out there (and what you guys send in.) That’s why I’m excited to make these two announcements.

First, we are starting a new software site. It is called MacSoftwareReviews.com. We’re hoping that we can do for shareware developers what we’ve done for freeware developers. Understandably, there is a higher amount of interest in freeware (because it’s free), but there is also a lot of great software out there that won’t put a big dent in your wallet (or purse.) And, the reviews as MSR will be free still so it won’t hurt to see what’s out there.

Head on over and read the introductory post for a bit more. You can also subscribe to the RSS feed. And if you have an app we should check out, let us know.

The second thing is a little more personal. My company, Macminicolo.net, will have a small booth at the Macworld Expo next week in San Francisco. I’d seriously love to meet some of the FreeMacWare readers if anyone will be there. (If you’re in the Bay Area and don’t have a ticket to the expo, send me a note and I’ll see what I can do. Don’t worry, I won’t give you the hard sell on the Mac mini servers. (But if you’re looking for an inexpensive dedicated server with a lot of power, it’s a heck of a way to go.)
