Picture It Postage

Picture It Postage lets you create your own US Mail stamps for mailing letters and postcards. When you start up the program, it loads the images from your iPhoto library. You can select any photo, crop it how you like, add text, add effects, and choose the stamp value. After getting it just right, you purchase the stamps and they are sent to you in the mail.

There are some rules about what you can put on the stamps, but it is explained the first time you open the application. Endicia, the maker of Picture It Postage, is an approved licensed vendor for the USPS.

When I saw this application, I thought it would be a great idea for gifts. Send grandma a book of stamps with her grandchildren on them. Or order some to put on the Christmas cards that you send out so you can make yourself look even more “on top of things”.
