The people at Freshly Squeezed Software turn out some great products. Recent Tunes is one of their free offerings. This app puts a list of your most recently played songs in the menu bar. Selecting a song from that list replays it immediately.
In addition, this freeware “adds the ability to upload files to your Web server (via FTP, SSH1, or SSH 2) or to a database (via HTTP GET)”, which is great for bloggers. You will be able to display a list of recently played iTunes songs in your sidebar.
