RooVid Lite helps you get videos ready for your iPod, as well as other places.
The developer of rooVid Lite asked us to take a look at the freeware and I’m glad he did. This freeware let’s you convert videos for use with your iPod…but we’ve already feature a few of those. (iSquint,MovieToGo, ReelBean) Why this one too?
What I like about rooVid Lite is it allows you to create profiles that contain the details for how you want the exported video formatted. Creating the profile is easy, and you can save it for later use. So, this isn’t just for iPod videos. (although that is one of the pre-defined profiles) You can also create different profiles for web viewing. It is nice to have all these pre-defined so you don’t have to mess with the Quicktime settings each time.
The app also has other features like queuing of videos to be converted, drag and drop support, pause / resume individual conversions and the ability to prioritize running conversions.
This app is very well done
