As many of you have probably noticed, we’ve decided to have a new look here at FreeMacWare. We may still tweak a few things, but mostly we are satisfied with the new look. If it hasn’t changed for you yet…it’s coming. We also switched servers so the DNS is still propagating. The popularity of the site was too much for our old hosting plan so we put the sites on a machine of their own. We recognize that the site grows thanks to so many of you telling friends and posting about us on your blog. For that we are thankful.

In additon to the new look, we’re also introducing two new sites for a total of five. Below you’ll find the descriptions of each.

FreeMacWare- FreeMacWare find the best free applications in the world of OS X software. We review each application and write a post with out thoughts. There is one a day, Monday thru Saturday.

FreeMacBlog- At FreeMacBlog you’ll find a variety of posts. Tutorials, interesting tidbits about Apple, tips on using Mac OS X. The posts cover a mix of topics.

FreeMacMusic- The only thing better than a good tune is sharing that tune with a friend. On FreeMacMusic, we post bout some of our favorite music. Everything from Merle Haggard to the latest rap song.

FreeMacPhoto- FreeMacPhoto deals with photography in general, but adds a special Mac flavor to it. If you are into photography, or would like to learn more about it, you’ll find things of interest here. This site also serves as a place to show your best photos. Just submit them to the FreeMacPhoto Flickr Group.

FreeMacUnix The secret to the power of Mac OS X is found in it’s Unix foundation. If you’ve ever wanted to learn the power of Unix, FMU is the place to start.
