Rhyming with the toys from the 80’s, this is Smultron — an awesome, free text editor. Smultron features colored syntax highlighting, regular expression find and replace, commenting and uncommenting, opening hidden files, and more. Opened files are organized in a drawer-style setup that you might just like.
This text editor, great for programmers and designers, is right on par with SubEthaEdit, and besides being free, it’s also open source.
