Tofu is freeware that will take text and put it into columns that are much easier to read.
I always enjoyed reading the Straight Dope Archives, but stopped because they were much too wide on my computer screen. Resizing the window each time was a pain. Now, I just copy the text and put it into Tofu to be arranged in columns. It is easier to read that way.
There are also some other handy features.
