URLwell
If you're new to Freemacware.com and like what you see, you may want to subscribe to our RSS feed or signup for our emails at the right. We'll send you one Mac freeware application every day. Thanks for visiting!
URLwell is a bookmarks manager for your Menu Bar. You can drag URL’s from Safari or Firefox to URLwell to temporarily store them for later. When your eopen the URL later, it is automatically removed from URLwell.
I am constantly using this application. Most often it is for:
- Reading sites that I don’t have the time to read right away
- Saving URL’s that I find when I’m offline and want to read when I get connected to the internet again.
- When I comment on a blog that doesn’t offer follow up emails, I save the URL here and check back in a few days to read the comments that were written after mine.
URLwell runs in the menu bar and without an icon in the dock.
Update: URLWell disappeared. More on that here.
