Last summer I visited Belo Horizonte, Brazil and I still keep in contact with friends there. When I write emails in Portuguese, I use USInternational. This keyboard layout makes it easy to write the accents. For example, to write a cedilha, you type the comma then the letter “c”, which is different from the behavior of the Brazilian keyboard layout that comes with Mac OS X. I like this behavior much better.
Coincidentally, the developer of USInternational also lives in Belo Horizonte. I’ll have to buy him a guaranĂ¡ next time I’m there.
